Begbies Traynor Group plc is a leading professional services consultancy working alongside businesses, individuals, professional advisers and financial institutions in the areas of restructuring, corporate and personal insolvency, corporate finance, transaction services, forensic services, pensions advisory, capital management, real estate advisory and finance and funding.
We provide our services via a nationwide network of over 100 offices throughout the UK and offshore, with clients ranging from small businesses and professional advisers to large corporations and financial institutions.
Adrian and the wider team have a wealth of expertise in assisting companies and individuals on the Isle of Man in relation to financial matters, such as business insolvency and restructuring.
The Isle of Man shares many similarities with insolvency law in England and Wales - unsurprisingly due to its close proximity – owing largely to the fact that the Isle of Man Companies Act 1931 was based on the English Companies Act 1929. However, there are certain peculiarities and key differences to Isle of Man insolvency law and processes which have developed over many years; and our team are fully acquainted with both all legalese and procedures both in mainland Britain and on the Isle of Man.
We work on a high number of cases involving offshore and cross-border work including liquidations, administrations, litigation, asset tracing, and regulatory driven appointments, all of which vary in size and jurisdiction. We are regularly appointed to advise on misfeasance, professional negligence and breach of trust claims, and also specialise in contentious and complex insolvencies, particularly in relation to fraud investigations both in the UK and abroad.
We work with businesses of all sizes, creditors, banks, lenders, solicitors, accountants, and a host of other professional clients.
